Before the crack of dawn, Secretary-Treasurer Don E. Garcia and Business Agent David Rodriguez joined Teamsters at Richmond Sanitary Services to update them on contract negotiations. Rodriguez informed members that although the company and the union have not reached a tentative agreement yet, the union will not withdraw from demands that compromise their well-being. Rodriguez has scheduled federal mediation next week to finalize negotiations.
