On October 19, 2023, the 11 members at Giusto’s Specialty Foods, located in South San Francisco, voted to ratify the tentative agreement between the Company and Local 315. This two-year agreement, which increased the total compensation package by 22%, included increases to wages, employer contribution to healthcare, and pension contribution.
Rick Daverin, a Teamster of 16 years, was selected by his fellow Local 315 brothers, an experienced group with over 150 combined years at Giusto’s, to represent them throughout negotiations. Rick was able to witness the process and provided needed insight during negotiations.
